Repair service for VENTURER PDV28420C YSUS board causing dark screen or TV not powering on problem

If your VENTURER PDV28420C has sound, but no image or flat out refuses to power on chances are it needs its YSUS board repaired or replaced.

Coppell TV Repair offers a REPAIR SERVICE for the YSUS board used in VENTURER PDV28420C as shown on the picture.

REPAIR SERVICE means that you have to send in your malfunctioning board which we will diagnose, service, test and return back to you.

This is one of the very few plasma TV sustain boards out there which combines YSUS and XSUS (aka ZSUS) functionality into a single PCB.

Typical processing time for the repair is within two business days; if we have any probems that require more time we will get back to you and request more time or give you the option to get the board back without any service fees.


Failure symptoms

A failed YSUS board in VENTURER PDV28420C usually causes lack of image or very dark and severely distorted image or the TV refusing to power on whatsoever unless the YSUS board is disconnected from power.

The latest is actually a very solid symptom of a bad board (being unable to power on the TV with the board connected and powering it on to no image when it is disconnected from power), but it is not guaranteed that your board will fail in a fashion that will cause this particular symptom. 

The former symptoms may also be caused by other failures, so take them as a guide, not a guarantee that your board is bad.

Processing time

Typical processing time for the repair is within two business days; if we have any probems that require more time (be it overload or technical problems) we will contact you with an update and request for more time.

We have a fairly high success ratio, but we still do not guarantee success; if we can't get the board to work, though, you will not need to pay.


Presently we do not charge in advance for repair services.

Instead, once the board(s) are received, tested, found to be defective, serviced and tested again to success we send a payment request to the customer.

If something along the process - such as unexpected difficulty or finding a board to be functional - arises we contact the customer via email and/or phone and disscuss options.

Minimal charge / diagnostic fee

If a board arrives and is determined to be functional we charge up to $25 for diagnostic fee.

Board requirements

We ask that the board arrives here in good physical condition and without traces of tampering. If someone (other than us, that is) has already attempted to service the board then please contact us with a description/pictures and do not directly place an order. We reserve the right to refuse service to boards that have signs of repair attempts.
